Diastictis Hübner, [1823] . Type species: Geometra artesiaria [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775. Austria. [Junior homonym of Diastictis Hübner (1818) ( Lepidoptera : Pyralidae ). Replaced by Proutictis Bryk , treated as a junior synonym of Macaria , see below.]

Dysmigia Warren, 1895 . Type species: Fidonia loricaria Eversmann, 1837 . [Tatarstan]: Kazan. [Listed as a junior synonym of Macaria by Parsons et al., 1999.]

Elpiste Gumppenberg, 1887 . Type species: Halia tripunctaria Packard, 1873 . USA: California. [Junior synonym of Tephrina lorquinaria Guenée. Elpiste is listed as a junior synonym by Parsons et al., 1999.]

Epelis Hulst, 1896 . Type species: Fidonia truncataria Walker, 1862 . Canada. [Listed as a junior synonym of Macaria by Parsons et al., 1999.]

Eufitchia Packard, 1876 . Type species: Abraxas ribearia Fitch, 1848 . USA: New York State.

Eupisteria Boisduval, 1840 . Type species: Geometra quinquaria Hübner, [1822] , a junior subjective synonym of Geometra brunneata Thunberg (see Fletcher, 1979) ( brunneata is the senior synonym of the type species of Speranza Curtis ). Europe. [ Eupisteria was listed as junior synonym of Macaria by Parsons et al., 1999.]

Eutropa Hübner, [1831] 1825 . Type species: Eutropa distribuaria Hübner, [1831] 1825 . [ USA]: Pennsylvania. [Listed as junior synonym of Macaria by Parsons et al., 1999.]

Fidonia Herrich-Schäffer, 1855 . Type species: Geometra pinetaria Hübner, [1799] . [Junior homonym of Fidonia Treitschke, 1825 (Geometridae) . There is no replacement name. Fidonia pinetaria is a senior subjective synonym of the type species of Speranza ( sylvaria Curtis ), a genus treated in the present work as a junior subjective synonym of Macaria .
