The dentata species-group
Tergite 1 without dorsal tubercles or apical emargination, apex protruding at middle, tergite 2 relatively simple, without deep sulci; three species. One with modified antennae, but different antennomeres are involved when compared with the cavicornis species-group. Species included are: B. dentata (Say) , B. lareaui Chandler sp. n., and B. tamaulipec Sabella sp. n. This group is found in Atlantic/Caribbean coastal areas from New England to northeastern Mexico.
