Ecology. Endogeic species found in forest soils and cultivated soils (Milutinović et al. 2010). Distribution in Montenegro. Northern Montenegro: Žabljak and eastern Montenegro, Bijelo Polje (Karaman & Stojanović 1995).
Zoogeographical distribution type. One of the most widely distributed peregrine earthworms (Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003).
