Ecology. Anecic species (Szederjesi 2013) found in river banks and forests (Milutinović et al. 2010). Distribution in Montenegro. Southern Montenegro: Lovćen (Cognetti 1906), Perast (Šapkarev 1975; Mršić 1991), Cijevna Canyon (Stojanović & Karaman 2003).
Zoogeographical distribution type. Circum-Mediterranean (Csuzdi & Pavliček 2005).
