Remarks. At Kameswar village (24°22’21” N & 92°10’47” E, ca. 15 m above msl.) in Dharmanagar, one female individual was recorded during egg laying on a Fabaceae plant. The observation was made on 11.i.2017. Due to its close similarity with E hecabe and E blanda , this species is often overlooked and hence it is difficult to evaluate its relative status in Tripura

Current known distribution. Myanmar, India (Sikkim) ( Van Gasse 2013; Varshney & Smetacek 2015).
