Remarks. These specimens resemble Askola paprockii Domínguez, Molineri & Mariano 2009 based on the genitalia observed. The main differences are in the distribution of the large spots of the forewings (present at the cross veins close to the bifurcation of MP on A. paprockii versus absent at the cross veins close to the bifurcation of MP on Askola sp. ), the pattern of marks on the abdomen and the general coloration (yellowish-white with grayish marks on A. paprockii versus brown with dark brown marks on Askola sp. ). This morphospecies shares several similarities with A. paprockii , a species known exclusively by two male imago specimens. To confirm the status of new species, a comparison with additional and fresh material of A. paprockii would be necessary. It was found in only one site located in an area with Cerrado influence.
