N o t e: This genus of a world wide distributon comprises to date about 170 species of which about 45 occur in the Western hemisphere (KORMILEV & FROESCHNER 1987). The key for 26 species of the Neotropics given by KORMILEV (1973) is outdated and due to the lack of good illustrations and genital structures of closely related taxa this species cannot be assigned to one of them.
