Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye Kuriles and Kamchatka. Outside Russia in Europe, Turkey, Transcaucasia, Kazakhstan (N, Tien Shan), Mongolia, N and NE China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu Isl.).
Hostplants: Betula , occasionally Ulmus ( Hausmann 2004; Beljaev & Vasilenko 2014).
