Comments. The specimens from Micronesia were identified by Steffan as identical to C. latistylata (Hardy) from the Hawaiian Islands. The species is very widely distributed: from Hawai‘i, Micronesia, and the Seychelles Islands. It has also been reported from the United Arab Emirates ( Menzel & Smith 2009).
