Distribution in Brazil: AM, TO, MT, RO.
Biological aspects: Collections resulted in 16 specimens from lakes and marginal pools of rivers and larger streams.
Comments: This species is known from Peru, Bolivia and areas of the Amazon and Cerrado biomes on northern and central-western Brazil.
