Distribution in Brazil: MT.
Biological aspects: Two specimens have been collected on shaded, riffle areas of 1st order streams with welldeveloped riparian vegetation.
Comments: The material mentioned below is the same examined by Rodrigues et al. (in press). The distribution of this species is restricted to MT and the Argentinean Chaco Province.
