Distribution in Brazil: PA, AM, MT, MG, ES.

Biological aspects: The most common and widespread of the Stridulivelia on eastern MT, being found from narrow streams with gallery forest on margins to highly illuminated and impacted streams, but usually with roots on the edges.

Comments: In Brazil, the species is distributed on the North, Southeast and Central-West, on Amazon, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest biomes.
