Genus diagnosis
A.I has eight segments and terminal aesthetascs on fifth to eighth segments. A.II has seven segments, the fifth without setae. Lb. with 10 main teeth and small lateral teeth at every side. Mx.I with proximal endite with four claws and distal endite with seven claws. Mx.II with four segments. Exopods of Th I to VII with three to five segments; epipod absent on Th I; first and second segment of endopods of Th I to VII with one plumose dorsal seta each. Male Th VIII: very large, almost twice as long as wide; long endopod with two setae; small exopod, almost square; trapezoidal basipod with terminal seta and crest-like protuberance with two lobules in the internal face. Basal region of penial complex supports three lobes: an inner lobe, outer lobe and dentate lobe: inner lobe completely integrated into basal region of complex; outer lobe almost three times as long as wide, and longer than inner lobe; dentate lobe smaller than outer lobe. Female Th VIII very small, with one segment and one small tooth. Pleopods absent. Sympod of uropod with subequal spines, distal spine almost three times as long as others; endopod with spines and two apical setae; exopod with five setae.
