Material examined: 3 females, China: Tianjin City, xii. 2. 2002, Leg. X. Yu.

Female imago (n = 3)

Total length 1.84–2.30, 2.02 mm; wing length (n = 4) 1.43–1.50, 1.46 mm. Total length/wing length 1.23–1.60, 1.39; wing length/length of profemur 2.69–2.84, 2.77. Ground coloration yellow, and thorax with light brown vittae.

Head: Frontal tubercles triangular, basal width 20 µm and about 10 µm high. Antenna ( Fig. 6View FIGURES 5 – 9. 5) with 5 flagellomeres, basal segment with double rows of setae. AR 0.23–0.24, 0.23; ultimate flagellomere 62 –64, 63 µm long. Temporal setae (n = 2) including 4–5 inner verticals, 1–2 outer verticals and 1 postorbitals. Clypeus with 24 –27, 26 setae. Tentorium 100–110, 105 µm long, width 10 –14, 12 µm. Palpomere ( Fig. 7View FIGURES 5 – 9. 5) lengths (in µm): 20 –26, 24; 30 –36, 32; 84 –90, 87; 92 –102, 97; 110–140, 127.

Wing ( Fig. 8View FIGURES 5 – 9. 5): VR 1.27–1.37, 1.30 and Cu length 640–656, 645 µm.

Thorax: Acrostichals 6 –9, 7; dorsocentrals 6; scutellars 5 –6, 6; prealars 1.

Legs: Front tibia spur about 10 –14, 12 µm long. Spurs of middle tibia 14 –20, 17 and 14 –18, 16 µm, of hind tibia 20 –22, 21 and 16 –17, 16 µm long. Combs of middle tibia composed of 10 –12, 11 and 8 –10, 9 teeth, of hind tibia 12 –14, 13 and 8 –10, 9 teeth. Lengths (in µm) and proportion of legs are given in Table 6.

Spermatheca length 54 –65, 60 µm, width 30 –34, 32 µm. Gonapophyses IX notum 28 –44, 35 µm long.

Distribution: This parthenogenetic species is known from the Palaearctic and Australasian Regions. It is known from Palaearctic China (Liaoning Province and Tianjin City).
