Diagnosis ( Holovachov 2014)
Cuticle annulated. Lateral alae present. Cephalic sensilla papilliform or setiform. Amphideal fovea ventrally unispiral (circular in outline). Buccal cavity elongate and tubular. Male reproductive system diorchic, usually having both tubular and alveolar precloacal supplements. The number of supplements varies from zero to 40 for alveolar and zero to 11 for tubular. Female has two opposed and reflexed ovaries, may also have tubular supplements in some species.
