Diagnosis. Shell fusiform, somewhat tapering, white (fresh shells are translucent), with moderately convex whorls. Body whorl occupies (calculated as the Hb /H ratio) half of the shell height or less. Aperture is acutely oval in frontal view, no sinulus developed. Peristome no tor barely widened, very little expanded at the base and on the columellar side. Parietal callus very thin, covering also the umbilical region in a narrow stripe. Apertural edge almost straight in lateral view. Neck bulge is missing.

Type material studied. Holotype: Albania, Dibër district, 3 km E of Fushë-Lurë along the Cidhnë - Fushë-Lurë road; 41.8137° N, 20.2362° E; 1220 m alt.; 29 Jun 2007; L. Dányi, Z. Erőss, Z. Fehér, A. Hunyadi and D. Murányi leg.; HNHM 98721 . Paratypes: 2 shells [not fully developed]; same collection data as for holotype; ER/1, HU/1.

Distribution. In addition to the type locality, which was the only known location so far, new distribution records somewhat widen the species’ range in northern Albania ( Fig. 1A ).

Conservation status. This species has not been assessed so far. In the light of the new distribution data, the number of known locations is more than five and the area of occupancy (AOO) is larger than 20 km 2. Provided that no significant threats are known to this species, there is no reason to suppose that the habitat quality, the extent of occurrence (EOO), area of occupancy (AOO), number of locations, number of subpopulations or the number of mature individuals are declining or extremely fluctuating. Therefore, it should be assessed as Least Concern (LC) both at the global and the national level.
