Diagnosis. Shell elongated conical with blunt apex, whitish in colour, with moderately convex whorls. Body whorl occupies (calculated as the Hb /H ratio) half of the shell height or less. Aperture rhomboid or acutely oval. Peristome slightly widened. In side view, the aperture slightly rises at the penultimate whorl and apertural edge is strongly arched in lateral view. Neck bulge is recognisable.

Distribution. So far it was known from the western part of the Shkodër Basin (Mt. Rumija, Mt. Kroništar), the new locality record from Drisht not only the first for Albania, but also extends the known range of the species to the southeastern part of the Shkodër Basin ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ).
Conservation status. Based on an assumption of a smaller range, this species has been assessed globally as Near Threatened ( Fehér 2018a). Together with the new distribution data, the number of known locations globally is still five and the area of occupancy (AOO) is 20 km 2. No significant threats are known to this species, there is no reason to suppose that the habitat quality, the extent of occurrence (EOO), area of occupancy (AOO), number of locations, number of subpopulations or the number of mature individuals are declining or extremely fluctuating. Until no further locations, and a larger AOO is discovered, the global Red List status can be kept as Near Threatened. Due to the same reason, in the two countries where occur, it should be classified also as Near Threatened.
