Alaus nodulosus Waterhouse, 1877: 4 (original description; type locality: Andaman Island ).

Cryptalaus nodulosus ( Waterhouse, 1877) : Chandran & Dubey, 2020: 662 (redescription; proposed new combination; new record for Nicobar Islands); Parekar & Patwardhan, 2021: 19993 (diagnostic characters & remarks; proposed new combination).

Distribution. INDIA: Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Remarks. The transfer of Alaus nodulosus Waterhouse, 1877 to the genus Cryptalaus Ôhira should be ascribed to Chandran & Dubey (2020: 662) and not Parekar & Patwardhan (2021: 19993).
