Geographic distribution. Pacific Ocean between 15° N and 30° S ( Román-Palacios et al. 2020).

Distribution in Peru. Oceanic species found off the coast of Peru ( Herring 1961; Aguilar & Méndez 1987; Villarreal et al. 2002; Ikawa et al. 2012, fig. 6).
