Geographic distribution. Peru ( Roback & Nieser 1980), Chile ( Blanchard 1852), Argentina ( Bachmann 1962c) .

Distribution in Peru. Cusco, Puno ( Roback & Nieser 1980).

Notes. The material from Argentina reported as N. variabilis by Berg (1881b) and Viana & Williner (1978) might correspond at least in part to this species ( Coscarón 2017).
