Geographic distribution. Colombia ( Roback & Nieser 1974), Brazil ( Stål 1860), Peru ( Sites 2022), Bolivia ( López-Ruf et al. 2006), Paraguay ( Kochalka et al. 1996), Argentina ( Berg 1879) .
Distribution in Peru. Madre de Dios ( Sites 2022).
Notes. The record from Panama ( Montandon 1898a) is erroneous. It was mistakenly repeated as Paraguay by La Rivers (1971) and some subsequent authors. However, this species was indeed recorded from Paraguay by Kochalka et al. (1996).
