Geographic distribution. Trinidad & Tobago ( Nieser 1969b), Guyana ( Nieser 1975), Suriname, French Guiana ( Montandon 1907), Brazil ( White 1879b), Peru ( Montandon 1907).
Distribution in Peru. Loreto? ( Montandon 1907; see notes below).
Notes. Material identified as R. annulipes Stål, 1854 by White (1879b) actually refers to this species ( Nieser 1975). Montandon’s (1907) citation of “Amazone supérieur” probably corresponds to the region of Pebas, Loreto, Peru, as known for other specimens deposited in the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet (Stockholm, Sweden) bearing this label ( Moreira et al. 2011).
