This uncommon eucnemid species has been recorded from Alabama and Florida ( Otto 2012). The new state record is for Georgia. One specimen was taken from a UV light trap placed in a sandy open field. One specimen was taken from a lighted sheet placed in a mesic oak/pine forest.
