Measurements: (8 specimens measured) Average total length: 8.9mm, range: 7.4–11.0mm, average elytral length: 5.6mm, average elytral width: 2.8mm, average pronotal length: 2.6mm, average pronotal width: 2.3mm, average head width: 2.1mm.
Head: Black, cranium densely vested with shorter setae, with distinct punctation, interstices about one diameter of punctures; posterior part of clypeus black, with large punctation and a few long setae laterally; smooth centrally; ventral part dark red-brown to black, wrinkled, smooth centrally; antennae red-brown, male A11 extremely elongate, as long as preceding 7 antennomeres together, antennomeres gradually decreasing in length from A3 towards A10, male antennae reaching base of pronotum when laid back, female antennae reaching middle of pronotum; gular sutures diverging apically, gular process narrow.
Thorax: Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.1:1; pronotum dark red-brown to black, densely vested with short yellow setae, pronotal arch broad, with extremely fine punctation dorsally, interstices about two diameter of punctures, with denser punctation laterally, pronotum proper with coarse and dense punctation, punctation merging to longitudinal wrinkles; prosternum dark red-brown, smooth; mesosternum red-brown to yellow, margins darkened, vested with yellowish setae; metasternum yellow, vested with fine setae, punctation sparse and fine; transverse sulcus on anterior part of mesosternum and mesepisternum distinct; anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum oval, colored like surrounding elytra.
Elytra: Average length:width ratio 2.0:1; basal third red, followed by a yellow fascia, postmedian fascia broad, black, near apex with another yellow fascia, suture black, extreme apex black, subcutaneous structures visible through red and yellow areas, vested with short decumbent and longer erect setae, punctation large, with some additional punctures between striae 1 and 2 in humeral region, striae 1, 2 and 9 obsolete with beginning of first yellow fascia, striae 3 to 8 present on entire surface except extreme apex, striae 10 with weaker punctation, interstices between and within striae smaller than one diameter of punctures, punctation rasp-like in basal third, carinated in apical half along striae 3 to 7, especially distinct near striae 6 and 7.
Legs: Yellow, tarsi red-brown, tarsal pulvilli pale; metatibiae more or less straight, anterior and posterior face of each tibia carinate, carination indistinct in some specimen, red-brown or colored like tibiae.
Abdomen: Ventrites red-brown, with weak and sparse punctation; male pygidium subtriangular, lateral margins converging, apex rounded; male ventrite 6 with broad U-shaped emargination. Male genitalia ( Fig. 51 View FIGURE 51 ): Lateral margins of tegmen parallel; phallic plates narrow, in basal third strongly kneed; spicular fork dividing into two branches after one fifth of length.
Distribution: Vietnam, India, Myanmar.
