Ectopria LeConte , undetermined species. Benton: Bear Cr., Shellsburg, CTH, 10/1/01; Buchanan: Lime Cr., Brandon, CTH, 9/4/07; Jackson: Pleasant Cr., Springbrook, CTH, 9/12/02; Linn: East Otter Cr., Midway, MWB, 10/12/01; Mitchell: Deer Cr., Carpenter, CTH, 8/25/08; Worth: Willow Cr., Hanlontown, TMM, 8/10/16. These are larval collections that are included because they are the only detailed locale records we have regarding Ectopria species , even though they are not resolvable to species with current larval keys (K. Schmude, in litt.).
Ectopria nervosa (Melsheimer) . (Downie and Arnett 1996). Distribution: Eastern USA, extending west to Minnesota in the north and Texas in the south. Iowa forms part of the western border .
Ectopria thoracica Ziegler. (Downie and Arnett 1996) . Distribution: Eastern USA, extending west to Iowa and Oklahoma. Iowa forms part of the northwestern border .
