Holotype: FMNH 252725 About FMNH , male, “Kon Cha Ran (1000 m ASL), An Khe District, Gia Lai Province, Vietnam ”. Etymology : Latin “ spina ”, thorn, and Latina “ pectoralis ”, related to the breast, referring to the cornified pectoral spines in adult males.
