( Figs 11 View FIGURES 7–14 , 66–70 View FIGURES 60–70 )
Allopygus malayanus Cameron 1950: 22 View in CoL .
Algon malayanus: Schillhammer 1999: 94 View in CoL ; 2006: 152.
Material examined. Malaysia: 1♁, Pa Hang, Brin Chang, 27.III–10.IV.2019, Vishnyakov Alexey leg. ( SHNU).
Description of male characters. Aedeagus ( Figs 66–70 View FIGURES 60–70 ) relatively large, median lobe parallel-sided with flame-shaped apical portion in ventral view, with distinct hook-shaped apical portion bent toward paramere in lateral view; paramere slender in ventral view with distinct dorso-ventral extension ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 60–70 ), about 50 peg setae densely arranged as arrow-shaped subapical cluster ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 60–70 ).
Diagnosis. First record of male. It is similar to A. excellens Cameron, 1944 in general appearance, but differs by the glabrous ostial operculum and semi-membranous dorsal portion of median lobe of aedeagus. The aedeagus is very similar to that of A. fukienensis ( Figs 58, 59 View FIGURES 51–59 ) but with less developed lateral extensions.
Distribution. W- Malaysia.
