Lisboa: Serra de Montejunto, Buracos Mineiros ( Machado 1949); Serra de Montejunto, Lapa do Vale Carvalhal ( Machado 1949); Cadaval, Serra de Montejunto, Lapas do Furadouro de Trás ( Machado 1949); Serra de Sintra, Parque da Pena ( Machado 1949). Santarém: Vila Nova de Ourém, Fátima, Lapa da Salgada ( Machado 1949). Setúbal: Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, Cabeço de Olivide, Lapa do Jogo dos Mouros ( Machado 1949).

New records: Faro: Monchique , 1 female, 10.IV.1971 (CJFM) ; Vila Real de Santo António, Monte Gordo , 1 male, 7.IV.1971 (CJFM) . Lisboa: Murgeira, 1 female, in pine forest, 8.IV.2001 (CGT); Tapada de Mafra , 1 female, in Eucalyptus plantation, 31.III.2001, 1 female, in pine forest, 31.III.2001 (CGT) .

Distribution: Palearctic.

Habitat type: Found in damp habitats, including caves.

Phenology: In Portugal collected in March and April, in temperate Europe found throughout the year ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991).
