Description: Wiehle (1956: 66, figs 105–108), Roberts (1987: 132, fig. 67a).

New records: Santarém: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP, Vila Nova de Ourém, Bairro , 2 males 26. II, 1 male 2 females, 3.XII.2002 (CPC) . Leiria: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP , Porto de Mós, Barrenta , 1 male 1 female, 19.XI.2002 (CPC) .

Distribution: Palearctic. New to Portugal.

Habitat type: Only found in closed canopy, damp forests.

Phenology: The species was collected in November, December and February, indicating it is a winter species.
