Description: Roberts (1960a: 391, figs 712–721), Bosmans (2008: 135, figs 130–135). Previous records: Coimbra: Coimbra ( Bertkau 1893). Lisboa: Cascais, Mata da Marinha ( Bacelar 1933). New records: Braga: Vila Nova de Famalicão, Joane (CBM); Vila Nova de Famalicão, Rorigo (CBM).
Porto: Vila do Conde (CBM) . Aveiro: Oliveira de Azeméis (CBM). Distribution: Palearctic, but absent from the northern part. Habitat type: Unknown in Portugal. Phenology: Unknown. In Central Europe, adults are found from May to July ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991) .
