Oedothorax fuscus (Blackwall, 1834)

Oedothorax retusus ; Bacelar 1928: 186 (misidentification).

Distribution: Europe, North Africa, Azores.

Habitat type: Always found close to water, either rivers or habitats inundated during part of the year.

Phenology: Adults were mostly abundant from February to June.
