Previous records: Braga: Terras de Bouro, Serra do Gerês (van Helsdingen 1969); Vila Nova de Famalicão, Joane (CBM). Guarda: Guarda ( Bacelar 1928). Lisboa: Lisboa ( Bacelar 1935); Sintra (CBM). Porto: Foz do Douro ( Simon 1898) ; Penafiel, São Mamede de Recezinhos ( Simon 1898). Viana do Castelo: Carvoeiro (CBM).

New records: Braga: Esposende, Fão, 1 male, 19.IX.1982 (CJFM). Bragança: Douro Internacional NP, Miranda do Douro, Picote , 1 male, 14.XI.2001 (CPC). Setúbal: Arrábida NP, Mata do Solitário (CPC); Mata do Vidal (CPC); Palmela, Quinta de S. Paulo (CPC).

Distribution: Palearctic.

Habitat type: Common and widespread in many different habitat types.

Phenology: In Portugal, adults have been collected from September to January.
