Previous records: Beja: Vale do Guadiana NP, Pomarão (Cardoso et al. 2009) . Braga: Peneda-Gerês NP, Terras de Bouro, Mata da Albergaria ( Cardoso et al. 2008b) . Porto: Penafiel, S. Mamede de Recezinhos ( Simon 1898) . Setúbal: Arrábida NP , Vale da Rasca ( Cardoso et al. 2008a) .

New records: Beja: Serpa, Pulo do Lobo , 1 male, marshy area, 23.V.2007 (CRB) . Faro: Aljezur , 1 male 1 female, marshy area along rivulet, 22.V.2007 (CRB) . Lisboa: Mafra, Campo do Mato de Cima , 1 female, oak forest, 17.V.2001 (CGT) . Santarém: Paúl do Boquilobo NR, Golegã, choupal, 5 males 1 female, 22.V– 5.VI.2002; Torres Novas , montado, 2 females, 2.V–15.V, 3 males 1 female, 19.IX–28.XI.2002; Torres Novas, salgueiral, 2 males, 24.IV and 5.VI.2002, all Cardoso leg. (CPC) .

Distribution: Holarctic.

Habitat type: Prefers mostly riverine or marshy habitats.

Phenology: Two adult abundance peaks are present, the first during May/June and the second during September/November.
