Description: Bosmans (2006a: 131, figs 13–16).

New records: Beja : Vale do Guadiana NP, Mértola , Braciais, 1 male, 21.V.2003 (CPC). Coimbra: Paúl de Arzila NR, 1 male 5 females, 28.V.2008, L. Crespo et al. leg. (CLC). Évora: Portel N., 2 females, 8.IV.1996 (CRB). Leiria: Serras de Aire e Candeeiros NP, Alcanena, Mira d'Aire, 3 males 26.II.2002, 1 male, 18.VI.2002 (CPC). Lisboa, Monsanto, 2 females, 1.II and 12.II.2005, A. Rebelo leg. (CRB) .

Distribution: Western Mediterranean.

Habitat type: The species is restricted to open habitats, with very little vegetation cover.

Phenology: All specimens were collected in spring and early summer.
