Description: Bosmans (1986: 93, figs 17–24).

Previous records: Leiria: Alcobaça, Cova dos Moiros, Lagoa do Cão ( Machado 1941) .

New records: Faro: Loulé, Algarão do Barrocal do Esguicho, cave (CBM); Loulé, Igrejinha de Soidos, cave (CBM); Olhão, Moncarapacho, Algarão do Garrafão (CBM) . Leiria: Cortes, Toca dos Vales (CBM) .

Distribution: Western Mediterranean.

Habitat type: Caves and damp forests.

Phenology: Unknown in Portugal. Machado (1941) collected the species in January. In Algeria, the species is adult from January to June ( Bosmans 1986).
