Description: Bosmans (2007: 122, figs 12–18). Previous records: Beja: Vale do Guadiana NP, Pomarão (Cardoso et al. 2009).
New records: Beja: Vale do Guadiana NP, Serpa, Quinta de São Brás , Pulo do Lobo , 3 females, marshy area, 23.V.2007 (CRB); Serpa, Ribeira de Limas , 3 males 1 female, 12. II, 3 males 12. III, 5 males 7.V.2003 (CPC). Bragança : Miranda do Douro , Vila Chã da Braciosa , 1 female, 31.V.2001 (CPC). Faro : Barragem de Alcoutim , 1 male, marshy area below the dam, 18.II.2006 (CRB); between Marmelete and Casais, Ribeira de Alfambras, 1 female along rivulet, 22.V.2007 (CRB). Distribution: France, Algeria and recently cited for the first time in Portugal (Cardoso et al. 2009). Habitat type: Mainly found close to rivers or watersheds. Phenology: Adults have been collected from February through May .
