Bordoni, 2007a: 10 ( Lepidophallus ; Type locality: China, SW Anhui, Tianzhushan); Bordoni, 2010: 116 ( Megalinus ; Yunnan, Nujiang Lisu Aut. Pref., Gaoligong Shan).
Type material: male, with labels as follows: “ HOLOTYPUS, Lepidophallus , anhuensis sp. n., Bordoni det. 2005” / “' China,' SW ' Anhui,' 11.–14. V ., TIANZHUSHAN env., 30.75 N 116.45 E, ' Jaroslav Turna leg.,' 2004 ” ( NMW) .
Distribution. China (Anhui).
Remarks. This species could be distinguished from its congeners by: 1) some small punctures on frontal region; 2) antennomere II longer than III; 3) admedian row of pronotum consisting of 8–9 punctures; lateral row, curvedly arranged, of 8–9 punctures; 4) each side of elytra possessing 5–6 row of punctures; 5) interspaces between punctures on abdomen ca. 4–5 punctures’ diameter; 6) board inner sac with large spines. Although it is similar to Megalinus flavus (Bordoni) , we could find the differences of the less dilated temple, as well as above points 3, 4, 5, and 6.
