Type material. Holotype: male, Cave without a name close to Xiangshui Cave (28°02.349′N, 104°04.753′E, elevation 768 m), Doushaguan Town , Yanjin County, Zhaotong, Yunnan, China, 27 October 2014, Y. Li and J. Liu leg GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 1 male and 2 females, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective.

Diagnosis. This species resembles P. yuantu Yao & Li, 2012 (see Yao & Li 2012: 41, figs 211–214) with similar male chelicerae ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D), bulbal apophyses ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C) and epigynum ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A) but can be distinguished by the large, angular prolatero-distal apophysis on the procursus (arrow in Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C) and by the elongated vulval pore plates ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 B).

Description. Male (holotype): Total length 6.39 (6.53 with clypeus), carapace 1.64 long, 1.70 wide, opisthosoma 4.75 long, 1.51 wide. Leg I: 47.78 (12.81 + 0.76 + 13.11 + 18.89 + 2.21), leg II missing, leg III: 24.91 (5.43 + 0.76 + 6.83 + 10.63 + 1.24), leg IV: 38.04 (10.22 + 0.78 + 9.08 + 16.11 + 1.85); tibia I L/d: 77. Distance PME-PME 0.44; diameter PME 0.16; distance PME-ALE 0.06; distance AME-AME 0.07; diameter AME 0.08. Sternum wider than long (1.16/1.01). Habitus as in Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with brown radiating marks extending to ocular area; ocular area yellowish with brown marks; sternum brown. Legs yellowish, femora (subproximally and subdistally) and tibiae (subdistally) with darker rings. Opisthosoma yellowish, with small spots dorsally and laterally. Ocular area elevated; each eye triad strongly elevated ( Fig. 27 View FIGURE 27 A). Thoracic furrow absent. Chelicerae as in Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D, with a pair of proximo-lateral apophyses, a pair of distal apophyses, and a pair of frontal apophyses. Pedipalps as in Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 A–B; trochanter with a ventral apophysis; femur with a distinct ventral ridge; procursus simple proximally but complex distally, with two prolatero-dorsal spines medially and a large, angular prolateral apophysis distally (arrow in Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C); uncus with a scaly edge; appendix hooked, with a hooked slender branch (arrow in Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A) and two small angular apophyses (arrow in Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C) medially; embolus weakly sclerotized, with some transparent projections distally. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 3%; legs with short vertical setae on tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi; without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 26 distinct pseudosegments.

Female: Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 G–H. Total length 6.39 (6.49 with clypeus), carapace 1.56 long, 1.68 wide, opisthosoma 4.83 long, 1.57 wide; tibia I: 11.02; tibia I L/d: 50. Distance PME-PME 0.34; diameter PME 0.11; distance PME-ALE 0.05; distance AME-AME 0.06; diameter AME 0.08. Sternum wider than long (1.06/0.90). Eye triads closer together, less elevated. Epigynum ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A) with a nearly trapezium-shaped knob. Vulva ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 B) with a sclerotized anterior arch and two elongated pore plates.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, type locality; Fig. 28 View FIGURE 28 ).
