TYPE SPECIES. — Pediella colorata Roberts, 1937 .

DISTRIBUTION. — Venezuela, Mérida ( Roberts 1937). Peru, Ancash, Junín, Cajamarca ( Cigliano et al. 2010) in high altitude paramos and puna habitat (see geographic distribution from Perú, in OSF).
