Family Ratardidae View in CoL
Ratardidae View in CoL is a rare moth’s family ( Schoorl 1990, Nieukerken et al. 2011). Some authors considered Ratardidae View in CoL as a subfamily within Cossidae View in CoL ( Holloway 1986, Edwards et al. 1999, Heynderycx 2003). Ratardidae View in CoL is delicate, butterfly like moths, ocelli absent, antennae filiform or bipectinate and short up to 1/3 length of forewing. Currently, the family includes nine species in four genera. The family is distributed in North East India, Indochina ( Myanmar, Thailand), Taiwan, the Philippines (Palawan Island), Malaysia, New Guinea and Indonesia to the east to the Moluccas ( Yakovlev et al. 2022b). In India, the family is represended by three species in genus Ratarda View in CoL .
