Discussion
From the detailed drawings of the male genitalia included in the original description ( Kozánek & Kwon 1991a) and the study of the holotype, the taxon is transferred to the genus Clistoabdominalis ( Cli. subruralis Kozánek & Kwon, 1991 ) comb. nov.). Although lacking any ventral projection of syntergosternite 8, the species seems to be allied to the European members of the electus species group as outlined in Kehlmaier (2005). The figures provided by Kozánek & Kwon (1991a) should allow an unambiguous identification of this taxon.
Cli. subruralis has been recorded from North Korea and the Peoples Republic of China in the past.
