Myrmozercon brachytrichos Joharchi, Arjomandi & Trach, 2017

Distribution and habitats. Alborz Province (Savojbolagh, Khoznan; Damavand mountain), on the head of Crematogaster inermis Mayr (Formicidae) in the bark of grapevine ( Joharchi et al. 2017).

Note: This species has previously reported as Myrmozercon tauricus Trach & Khaustov, 2011 from Alborz Province (Damavand mountain), clinging to the head of Crematogaster schmidti (Mayr) (Formicidae) in the bark of grapevine ( Joharchi and Moradi 2013). Joharchi et al. (2017) considered it as misidentification and described as a new species as above.
