Diagnosis. Forewing length 21–23 mm. Wings dark brown. Forewing upperside with subapical spot in space R5 the largest of three spots in space R3–5; the spot in CuA1 larger than cell spot and directed termen; the spot in space M3 subequal to spots in space CuA2, two spots in space CuA2 almost rectangular, lower spot larger; forewing underside with basal striping much reduced. Hindwing upperside with basal yellow hairs much reduced; the spot in space Rs rather faint.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 41–45 ). Gnathos highly developed and rounded at tip; valva short and broad, distal part convex; aedeagus stout; cornuti irregular plate-like; juxta upper margin U-shaped, under margin M-shaped.

Materials examined. 2♂, 3♀, Shimentai Nature Reserve, Guangdong, 13-VI-2003, WANG Min; 1♂, Yingde, Guangdong, 23-VI-1999, WANG Min.

Distribution ( Fig. 68). China (Guangdong, Guangxi); Vietnam.

Remarks. The species was well described by Devyatkin (2000) from North Vietnam. It is quite distinct from related species in spots of forewing and genitalia, especially the spot in space CuA1 and the shape of the juxta.
