Type locality: near top of Mt. Wellington, adjacent to Hobart city, Tasmania. Other localities: Several caves and rivers in Central Plateau (Zion Hill, Sandbanks Tier, Mt. Ossa and Mt. Rufus), Deruyent area (Mt. Field) and Huon area (Snowy North, Weld River, Mt Anne, Hartz Mtns, Adamson’s Peak, Wolfe Hole), Tasmania. Habitat: C and ER.
