Remarks. Amphichroum telnovi was originally described based on five specimens from western Nepal. The new material from India and Nepal shows that proportions of the body of this species can vary. Measurements of these specimens: HW: 0.47–0.56; HL: 0.27–0.36; OL: 0.14–0.18; PL: 0.45–0.53; PWmax: 0.68–0.84; ESL: 0.92– 1.02; EW: 0.96–1.11; AW: 0.74–1.21; AedL: 0.55–0.60; BL: 2.03–3.38 (holotype: 2.60). Body of these specimens are brownish, with slightly darker head and abdomen, and paler pronotum and elytra; mouthparts, antennae and legs yellow-brown to brown (apical maxillary palpomere and antennomeres 1–3 in some specimens slightly paler). Apical portion of the median lobe can be slightly narrower if compared with Fig. 25 in Shavrin (2021c). It is here recorded from India for the first time. The modified (from Shavrin 2021) map of the distribution as in Fig. 12.
