Limnesia (Tetralimnesia) sp.

Material examined. OMAN 96-53. Halban , open well (keyhole shaped, 4× 2 m), diesel pump, water surface at 4 m, water column 12.5 m; UTM 0605256/2607586 (23‡34'31̎N, 58‡01'53̎E), altitude 50 m, 29.2‡C, 2.39 mS cm 21, 28 March 1996, 5””, two of them dissected and mounted in Hoyer’s fluid, three in Euparal .

Remarks. Various (sub)species have been described in this subgenus from Africa and Asia. In several cases, the significance of characters used for taxonomic separation is unclear, and in absence of the male a classification to species level is impossible.
