Type locality: Panama, Chiriquí Province ( Brennan and Jones 1961b). Type host: Peromyscus mexicanus (= Peromyscus nudipes ) (Saussure, 1860) ( Rodentia : Cricetidae ). Type depository: USNM (holotype). Panama records. Only known from the type series.
