Anacridium aegyptium (Linnaeus, 1764)

This species has a circum-mediterranean distribution in Europe and is considered to be only introduced in the CR. Sometimes, it is moved into new area together with agricultural products (Obenberger 1926). In these cases, it may be found in central Europe during winter (Wiezik & Gavlas 2004). In recent years, the occurrence of an individual introduced into the CR was reported by Chládek (2010b). No population has been demostrably found in the area of the CR.
