This species was described from Georgia ( Kuznetsov 1971). It was also recorded in Germany (as Lorryia cristata ) ( Karg 1975), Greece ( Panou and Emmanouel 1995b), and Poland ( Kaźmierski 1998). This is the first record of M. delicata in Russia.
