Diagnosis. Wingspan 8 mm. Thorax white. Venation with M3 and Cu1 coincident in the forewing and M3 and Cu1 connate in the hindwing. Forewing is most narrow in the genus, its width at the middle one-fifth length of wing; oblique transverse brown band from dorsum reaching three-fourth across wing and merged with pale bronzy spot extending along distal half of costal margin; costa with three oblique brown strokes alternated with white ones. The species is very similar with duplicata by shape and pattern of forewing. It differs from related species by smaller size, narrower forewing and different colour of thorax. In the male genitalia it is similar with speciosa . It can be distinguished from the latter by venation of fore- and hindwing and aedeagus longer than valva. Distribution. S India.
